Revisiting a New Orleans family on game day
As I spent the weekend in New Orleans and as I was getting all my tickets together for the game I realized I had some extra tickets. I called the family that my family met while filming Keeping Up with the Kardashians in New Orleans. They were on our finale episode for season 2. I invited them to the game and they were beyond excited! Marissa, the daughter, had never been to a Saints game before and her brothers Aaron and Sydney got to meet some players after the game. They all were enjoying it so much! They honestly are the nicest people and it was so good to see them again. Next time I go to New Orleans I’m going to check out their house. Since we filmed and saw they were living in a FEMA trailer, their house has been fixed following damage from Hurricane Katrina. It is just one week away from completion and then the furniture we got them will be delivered in the next few weeks! They still live in the FEMA trailer, but hopefully by Christmas they will be moved into their home again. I couldn’t imagine living with four people in a one-bedroom FEMA trailer! Their spirits are so positive and they taught me and my family so much!

Thanks for reaching out to help others. I think that people in your position should always help those in need, but that’s not always the case.
This is the season for giving, and I’m glad you thought of this family. It shows that you don’t just help people when the cameras are rolling. Keep up the good work.

Thats is really nice of you!!! That shows you really have a heart cause you are still incontact with them. If you ever have any extra tickets ever again my son his a huuugge fan of Reggie Bush and the Saints!! I would love to take him to meet him….Please keep us in mind…lol

Has CHLOE asked you to watch the footage on PETA on how the FUR ended up on your SWEATER and your JACKET?????? Maybe you should support her CAUSE!!!!!

It’s really cool of you to keep contact with this family. Marissa is so cute and seems like a nice young lady. Its great that you can help out these truly deserving people. I hope they get into their new home for Christmas, that would be a great present.

Hey Jeannine, have you ever thought that maybe Kim was wearing faux fur. Even Khloe found some faux that looks real, she said so herself:
“I have now found so many amazing faux fur lines that are great alternatives for women who love the look and love animals.”
