I also voted this morning but I live in Oregon, so we vote by mail. My parents dropped my ballot off for me since I'm at school and won't be able to get it in by 8pm. cant wait to see who's prez!!!!!!

I voted at 7:02am. I actually started to tear up when I voted for the first black president of the US (I'm overly emotional. I cry when I see those sponsor-a-child commercials so it's not hard to get me misty-eyed) But I seriously had to stand there for about 5 minutes til the tears went away because I couldn't see what I was marking! I know, I'm a mess.

I am so glad that you are showing everybody how important it is to go out and vote. I got up at 5am this morning and voted at 8:36am ( I am in Georgia where the voting is crazy). My brother waited 4 1/2 hours ( early voting)...You are such an inspiration and a very strong woman. When life is crazy you can always come to your website and see or read something uplifting and positive. Thanks for that! Are you going to any election parties tonight? every election should be an important one and people should exercise their right to vote at EACH AND EVERY election ... it is shameful if this is your first election. i've been voting since i was of legal age to do so. every American citizen needs to get out there and make their voices heard. and it's not just about president, although it is a historic moment, but there are important propositions that citizens of each state should be voting on.

I rocked the vote already. Polls opened in NYC at 6AM today and there was already a line. There was the cutest dog today at an election event at Rocketfellar and he was sporting a tshirt that said "My momma voted for Obama". haha
