Wipe dryer sheets on your hair to eliminate static. Also be sure to wash your brushes and add a small amount of fabric softner to them when they're soaking.

Kim u still look so prettyy without a buncha makeup onn!! youve deffinetly inspired me to not always wear a wicked lot every single day, its such a hard habbit to break .. espcially when a girl loves makeup as much as u & i do!

as for staticky hair .. this may sound crazy but before or after styling it, rub a dryer sheet through it! like an actuallll dryer sheet used for clothes lol this works SO good .. it doesnt last all day but it deffintly does the trick for a while

A way you can get rid of staticky hair is using a dryer sheet. YES! It works. I use it in the winter. Just run it all over your hair; plus, it makes you smell dryer-fresh!

I live in NY and come fall/winter UGH STATIC! Hate it. Want to live in Cali ;-) I got the zoommascara the other day and Idk if I like it too much, im used to my lancome, but i like that the zoom is very dark ;-)

1. I use a dryer sheet on my hair onces I'm done with straightening it.
or....
2. I use static guard. I spray it on my brush and brush my hair out with it. I have no clue what is in it but it honestly works wonders!!

I like the look overall but am also not crazy about the poncho or the makeup I think it looks a little unfinished and washes her out a bit like they OD'ed on the concealer on or something or just woke up. The blush color is fab though. I've done my makeup like that before and everyone kept telling me I looked sleepy lol. So I just go without anything but mascara or I put a little shimmer of shadow it prevents that look. I live in NYC so I guess I'm immune to the static hair thing. So I wouldn't even know what would work for that.

For those however who love the poncho they have some really nice ones just like that at TJ Maxx here in the city on 18th street the print, button and arms of the jacket are the exact same just a different brand. Me being on 5'2 i wouldn't like it on myself as it kind of overwhelms me but anyone else can try and take a stab I'm sure they have TJ Maxx's all over the country.

I would recommend Paul Brown Products, they are a company based out of Hawaii and have great anti-frizz sprays. Oh-and they smell very good!

Love the light natural look. Not sure if I'm loving that poncho though. I'm a fan of ponchos but that one will take a minute to get use to. The boots are cute because they can be casual or you can dress them up at night if you wanted to.

I'll keep a dryer sheet in my purse and run in over my hair when I need to on cold "static" type days. I also like the garnier fructis anti-frizz serum someone mentioned. Both work for me. :)

The dryer sheet is what I've been told. I prefer the heavier make-up look but that's just me. I am not a big fan of your coat either, I like the pattern but the sleeve thing is what I do not like. It almost makes you look like you have additional arms..lol. Other than this works. Love the boots!

kim I know all about the problem with static hair! After i finish straightening my hair i spray hair spray on my brush then i brush my hair. It always works. My 22nd birthday is THIS saturday!! hopefully i'll look as fab as you did on your birthday!!!

Static Guard is your best bet, I live in the north east and every winter I get the same problem. It is the only this that actually works, spray it just like hairspray but just a little and smooth your hands through. It doesn't smell good but it does the job!

That poncho is so cute.. I want it!!! LoLL ..I hate staticky hair in the winter time! I use this product at home for it, comes in a small grey bottle with red cap and writing for like $30.00 ..I need to get the name when I go home. =)

kim, you have professionals doing your hair all the time, im SURE you have asked them about static and how to get rid of it. I heard a good way to keep your fans feeling "close" to you is by asking them questions so they feel like they are helping you. Come on girl i know you know all the beauty tricks out there. Moisture gets rid of static. I don't like the coat you have on, i saw this pic of you a week ago, but i like everything else. I guess im just not feeling the slit sleeve thing, sorry.

I love the fresh look you did with your make-up, it's good to switch between dramatic and soft make-up once in awhile and the boots are sick, BUT I'm not feeling the poncho..there's too many geometric designs it's honestly giving me a headache
