The one question that I wanted to ask you is this one: Do you have extensions in your hair? Do you add pieces to your hair sometimes to make it fuller? and if you don't have extensions because God gave you that long beautiful hair, do you recommend hair extensions? What do you do to have confidence because I see that you never lack any of it. Also do you have gel nails or do you strut your natural nails just like you strut your beautiful personality. I am trying to give myself a make over so i can have a new life. I don't find myself pretty at all although my friends tell me all the time that I have a body to die for ( 5'6 127lbs) I lack self confidence and its been such a long time since I have had a boyfriend and I am tired of being alone and feeling lonely. on the topic of hair, mine is about the same length and colour as yours.i try to take really good care of my hair,where im from i pay about $250(+- $180usd) for a cut and $380(+- $290usd) for a colour i have both done professionally about every 6 months or so, inbetween i use at home haircolour and go to the local salon to get a trim...i also use things like pantene at home hair treatments to keep my hair looking glossy and healthy, as i am training to be a pilot i often fly to places where its snows and then to where its super sunny and hot all in one day and all that does put alot of stress on hair and skin.. everyone is different and can afford different things and prefere different things, this is just what Kim does!! you just have to do what is best for you personally!

If you want a hair stylist with a good hand when it comes to cutting hair shampoo along with bloiw dry and straightening it & you have long hair expect to pay 80.00& up oh & that includes highlights... Come on pls don't tell me you would prefer super cuts cuzz they be hatin' you tell them 2 inches & they cut off like 4.. HELL NO!!! kim thanks for sharing, sometimes when i break out i use lemon juice and coconut oil on a cotton ball, and swipe it all over my face....it works miracles!! always try to stay as natural on your face...i know we all wear makeup, but once in a while cleaning it with natural products can make all the difference. Ive seen such an improvement in my skin, and i hope you will try it oneday and love it as much as me!

Hey Jenny I'm not sure what makeup your using or how your skin is but it can very well be your makeup brushes. You should wash them once a week. I notice my skin will show some irritation when i forget to wash mine. You can buy the brush cleaner or you can use regular baby shampoo. I hope this is the case and will work for you so that you can continue to use the makeup that you love.

Okay Kim, now that we know how to get your smoked eye ... when are we going to learn something else ... I think I have given people enough of the smoke eye look ... It is an investment and the payoff is incredible. It's a GOOD oil, one that will NEVER clog pores. You do this with dry hands and face. You put 2 pumps into your palm and rub it around your hands. lol ok since everyone is giving away some beauty secrets, ill tell you mine. Well for the people who want to know how to keep your curls, first thing is not to use conditioner, it weighs your hair down and yeah you have to add hairspay as you're putting in your curlers. As for foundation, i use clinique superfit in honey and in neutral, i use both and then mix them to get the perfect shade for my complexion. It's hard to find a foundation that will match your skin tone perfectly so mixing two gives you the best results !

I use sponge rollers and before i start to roll the hair i mix water and hairspray together in a cup and i apply a little bit on the ends then i begin to roll. I personally have to leave the rolls on for a few hours becuz its so thick and heavy. After i take them out i put hair spray or TRESemme curls definition gel. They have it at CVS..I hope this works for you..

I have heard that many celebs can actually use their haircuts, waxing, manicures, etc. as a tax write off because it's a part of their job requirement. Also, in upscale LA salons, 130 bucks can even include a conditioning treatment or scalp massage and not just a haircut. Oh and i noticed kim didn't answer the type of sunscreen she uses, im not sure does she even use any? I like how the person started their question by saying "you are so beautiful kim" and it would have been nice of kim to reply back with a "thank you for the compliment". Maybe she hears it so often that it's like second nature now lol. And why is everyone on everyone else's backs in this blog? Some people think 130 bucks is alot and some don't, everyone has a right to share their views, everyone is respectful from what i see, so big deal.

Thanks for the info Kim. I could tell your hair looked a tad shorter but not alot. Its so pretty and shiny. Now I have a questions. I'm dying to know how to get your hair so fluffy and how you keep your curls in? I'm not sure if its just that my hair is thin but I try to tease it but it doesn't stay and falls flat. i took a picture similar to kim's hair to my hair dresser that i've been going to for 15 years. he owns the salon (its not a chain) and i only pay $25 for a cut and blow out. in the end it depends on the hair dresser, not the price of your haircut. i've gotten expensive nightmare haircuts in trendy city salons before.

I think your tips are good and very helpful for people they just need to take your tips and make it work for them. They also need to realize that people have all different types of hair some good some damaged,and some want different styles then others and in order to do so it could cost all kinds of prices but me personally think that $130 is a lot of money for a hair cut but my mom has told me many times that some time you have to treat your self cause you work hard for what you have and sometime you need to take the time out to do something nice for you be that you get your hair cut for $130 or buy a designer hand bag but every women should treat themselves once in a blue moon and trust me i come from a low income family and have had my share of tuff times but I have treated myself some time its all about budgeting and treating yourself cause you desire it mainly if you work hard every day. my tip to everyone is to take 5% of your check or less then that and put it away for you so when the right time comes you can treat yourself!! best of luck to everyone

Thanks Kim for sharing some of your beauty regimen, I love it!! Keep it coming!!! I gotta say I am surprised that you pay 130.00 for a hair cut, that seems incredibly reasonable by star standards lol! There are stylists that get away with charging hundreds of dollars for haircuts, so 130.00 is minimal compared to those.And yes we are suffering economic hardships as a country, but as an individual, Kim seems to manage ok:), so if she wants to spend that kind of money on that, who is anybody to criticize her for that? It is a huge part of her job to maintain her looks, and that costs money. I don't feel that she is "encouraging" anybody to follow her in spending that kind of money, but rather she is honestly answering a fans question. If she lied and said she only spends 50.00 on a haircut, people would find something to bitch about regardless! As far as the skincare goes, I am an estheticain and have been in the skin care industry for 5+ years, and there are so many products out there, but what may work great for Kim does not necessarily mean that it is the product for you! Finding a great skin care regimen takes a little time, and you really don't always have to break the bank! Some drug store products work just as well, if not better than expensive spa/department store brands! But there are certain products that are unique and shouldn't be scrimped on. The best product in my makeup bag that I never go anywhere without is SUNSCREEN!!!! Black, White, Asian, Latinas.... If you start wearing sunscreen early enough and consistently, it will significantly help with the aging process...I promise!!!!! Love you Kim,keep up the great work!! One Love Everybody!!!!

You have to pay that much if you want it done right. I pay close to that and I don't even live in LA. But with that price, I know I'm gonna look good no matter what. And if I don't like it, they will fix it, in a hurry. A few months ago, they cut my hair WAAAY to short and I've never had short hair so I was a little upset and stuck bc I didn't know what to do with it. They gave me extensions. For FREE. I'll pay the price for great service any day of the week.

Exactly, I'm thinking huh??? Better that she said where and gave a price. If someone were to just show up there and he gave his price they would be embarrassed. When I saw it I said thats it? In NYC it isn't that expensive not if you want your hair cut by a pro- stylist you can go to cheaper places for upkeeps but you'd rather the official cut be done correctly I feel like when you spend too little you take a chance on someone who will rush through your hair because ur not paying them enough for their time. They carry sizes 28D-40L! ONLY for large-breasted women. I'm a 34G and I was wearing the wrong brasize forever before I found this site, just because stores only carry brands that increase the back size with the bigger cup size. It's very high quality, but still reasonably priced. Just think: the right bra size and support! They even carry clothes that are tailored for curves. They tell you how to measure correctly to find you size. Good luck!

oh so lovely Tia - just my opinion but I wouldn't want to raise my kids in LA. I work in Sacramento but I live in Granite Bay (20 minutes outside Sac). It's near Folsom lake it's an upscale, beautiful area. It's really expensive (Eddie Murphy, John Travolta have homes near me) but it's right in the middle of CA. Hour and a half from S.F., about 5 hours form L.A. We are in the top 10 for schools in CA (I think #3). Def a great place for raising kids, but we have the same upscale stuff as LA. Plus we have the same kind of weather and no Earthquakes :-)

DANG anon! 12:44 PM if I put that on my face I would look like a damn pizza face in the morning! You must have amazing skin to be able to put vaseline on your face. My best friends mother (GORGEOUS black women) puts vaseline on her face everyday and she has THE MOST amazing skin I've ever seen but I don't think she's ever had a pimple in her life!

I've been using Clearasil for years now and it's done wonders for my skin! It's really inexpensive (about $5 per tube), but it works...for me! To all who wants to know what skin care products Kim use must take precautions because like everyone has been saying; what works for Kim may not work for you. I had a friend back in HS who had flawless skin and i asked her what she used, and ran out and bought everything she mentioned. My being foolishly insecure and not trusting my own judgement caused my skin to break out as soon as i used the skin care products that my friend said worked for HER. So please girls, just because someone appears to look flawless doesn't mean that their magic bullet will do the same for you.

$130 for a great haircut isnt really that expensive at her status. I personaly cut my own hair and it looks fabulous. People have actually wanted me to give them haircuts which i wont do! It's cool that she answered that persons questions. I do have to agree with some of the other comments on here and say that everyone is different and they should go to a makep counter to find what works best for them. Ask the sales clerk questions that's what they get paid for...

When you find something that works, you stick with it! Kim's hair looks fantastic and I know that where I live $130 is reasonable at a reputable salon. Most cuts are generally $150 and up. It's not her job to justify to anyone how she spends her money anyway. She works hard and deserves what she wants, just like any of us. She is simply answering the question of a fan and doesn't need to get criticized. Kim should be commmended on her honesty to her fans and the fact that she takes the time to interact with us on a daily basis. For those of you who just want to complain...cut the crap.

I don't understand why people are mad. Someone asked a question and she answered it. The fan didn't ask, "what are some low budget places to get your haircut?" She asked where Kim goes and she answered it. $130 really isn't THAT bad. She could pay a lot more. Plus she has the money to do it, so why does anyone else carew. 130 may not be cheap but it's really not that expensive. That's a pretty good rate for a pro stylist. It's not like you have to cute your hair every week I was actually expecting her to say more than that there are celebs who pay much more.

I agree with anonymous...you have to use cleaner and moisturizes that fit your skin types. Something kim uses may not be good for the next person's skin. Me personally I use ambi face cleanser and moisturize cause its good for dark complexed skin.
