Yes NY is lovely at christmas basically because of the way they decorate the store windows and the streets. It's pretty cold around that time also though so bring warm clothing. The Tree is actually in Rockerfeller Center which is in midtown close to 5th Avenue.
Madison Square area which is also known as Herald Square is where Macy's is which has a beautiful christmas floor on the 8th or 9th floor and Madison Square Garden is over there as well and the Empire State Building.

Manhattan would be ideal. Some of the hotel prices can get really pricey especially during that time of year but if you book in advanced you can get some pretty good rates. Manhattan is ideal because it is the central location and everything is there and within walking or a subway ride away so you won't have to worry about spending too much extra money. Lower Manhattan and Soho have some really decent 4 star hotels with a good rate if booked in advanced. If you stay in Manhattan you will have everything you need within your circumference. As you plan your trip write me I have some good suggestions for your stay here especially good shopping places ;-)

I'm def into fashion. I do like menswear and think that some designer mens jeans than are taken in on the bottom with some heels would be sooo cute! This style would be hip-hop of coarse! With a silk gucci bandanna and a white tank with some gold hoops and bangles. Its kind of the sexy thug girl... not many girls can rock it though! Beyonce, jlo would be the ones i can see this style on... haven't seen much of a hip hop style on you kim! I think you should try it... think you could rock it!
