OMG... that is so sad.
I understand going to a morgue will teach you not to drink and drive, but dont they think that it is traumatizing and can emotionally mess you up? I can imagine how sick to her stomach she felt. I got the chills and pictured it while reading it. My heart goes out to her. thank you for sharing this.

I know this comes as a tough subject to most. I lost a friend who was killed in a car accident by a drunk driver five years ago. He was driving on the wrong side of the highway. Drinking and Driving is sooo wrong. But I am glad that Khloe has learned from her mistake. No one is perfect..

Despite those who don't agree, I am very glad yoy posted Khloe's experience. DUIs are too common in this country and by using your website to share her experience, you are exposing a lot of people to some of the terrible things that can result from a DUI. I have never heard of being court-ordered to visit a morgue as a punishment for a DUI but I have heard of listening to a panel of people whos family memebers where killed by drunk drivers. I do not and would never feel sorry for Khloe for having to visit a morgue and being exposed to the things she was. DUIs are very serious and very dangerous and punishments should be equally severe. Everyone that gets a DUI should have to go through what she went through.

Personally I am HAPPY that the courts made her do it. Next they should make her go to a hospital and see what the victims of drunk drivers look like. Have her sit in a trauma room and watch the bloodied bodies that come in and the Doctors working to save their lives. Then she can go and see those that have been left a vegetable because of drunk drivers. And then send her to talk with the families who have lost a loved one because of a drunk driver.

I hope she cant get sleep for weeks and I hope she NEVER gets those images out of her head. I cant wait to see how long it takes for her to show up at a club drunk or in photos drinking again. She got off easy and deserves to she alot more of what happens when people are stupid enough to drink and drive!!

The saddest story I ever heard about drinking and driving was on Oprah's show. Her guest was this husband and wife. The wife's sister was getting married and this couple's one daughter who was 5 yrs old at the time.was in her aunt's wedding as a flower girl. The bride arranged for all the wedding party to be picked up by limo's to be driven to the receiption. On the way to the receiption a young man who was drinking, was driving on the wrong way on the freeway. He hit the limo head on killing the limo driver and their 5yr old daughter. The distrubing part of this story is that the mother crawled out of the demolished limo hold her daughter's head. The seat belt that was meant to protect her daughter ended up decapitating her daughter due to such a great impact. The driver was driving over the speed limit and again was going the wrong way on the freeway. The mother would not let go of her daughter's head even though she was in shock and injured. This young man destroyed their lives by his selfish act. The driver did survived the accident but was charged in killing 2 people and injuring the father, mother and also the grandfather and grandmother. To hear this women described the accident was so horrifying. The driver is serving a substanial amount of time in prison and will have to live with this his whole life. As for the parents and rest of the family their lives has changed forever. I know Kloe is very distrubed on what she seen at the morgue but I hope she becomes a strong advocate about drinking and driving. As for you Kim, I am glad that you spoke up on behalf of Kloe. Keep this message alive so more people may stay alive. God Bless

That must have been shocking.

I am currently the sole witness in an intoxication manslaughter case.

I pulled over last Friday night (or Saturday morning) because I was first on the scene of an accident by my apartment.

I wanted to see if everyone was ok.

The driver was bloody, but coherent and was walking around. The passenger was passed out in the back and taking deep breaths. What I was witnessing were some of his FINAL breaths; he later died at the hospital. :-(

The driver had fallen asleep at the wheel. Heartbreaking.

I found his obituary online; he was loved by so many. There is currently a bouquet of flowers at the site.

His death was so avoidable. Had his friend just watched his alcohol intake, he'd still be alive.

im so glad khloe is taking responsipility for what she did! i love her!

I have to say that it is a hard lesson to learn and well taught lesson for Khloe or for anyone that was on either drugs or alcohol. I hope that she does remember this lesson for rest of her life and won't forget about it.

I'm actually glad that Kim posted this. I think its a great thing that they made Khloe see all those dead bodies, but I do think she should have had to do more than just visit a morgue and go to jail for a day. I hope this experience has really taught her to NEVER drink and drive again, and hopefully the next time she thinks about getting drunk and possibly driving home, she should think about all those dead bodies she saw. But unlike some other people on here to live to say anything negative about Kim and her family for no reason, I do think it is a positive thing that Kim posted this. She had to stop partying in NY to go to the Morgue....I feel so sad for her! Really Kim? That is the least of her problems, she was REQUIRED to go due to her DUI arrest! If she wasn't caught drunk I'm sure she wouldn't even know where the morgue was...and wouldn't go thru this.

That homeless man was the one who died in the fires here in So Cal. I heard from this poor man and his dog in the news.

On the tyra show they said that khloe was busy "working" out of town and that's why she didn't go to her DUI classes and ended up breaking her probation which caused her to go to jail for a day and then have to do another DUI program. Still i think anyone who gets caught drinking and driving should automatically have to do some jail time. I hope she learned her lesson, celeb or non-celeb, please don't drink and drive !!!

Yeah Alicia I'm glad Khloe's ok too. I wish my family (especially my grandma) were ok after seeing my 32 year old uncle and my 5 year old cousin in caskets with stitches all over their bodies and then having to bury them. And then going to the junk yard to get all their belongings out of the mangled car. There was blood all over my cousins car seat. That was pretty horrible....But YEAH I'm glad KHLOE is OK!

I'm sorry that happened to you Shu. My uncle and cousin were killed by a drunk driver and even I was scared to drive! I wasn't even involved in the accident but the whole situation was so horrifying. I still get scared sometimes when driving at night. My grandma still won't drive to this day and she refuses to go on the street where they were killed. People don't realize how much they can completely f**k up somebody's entire life just bc you can't call a taxi. Pathetic.

I was a victim in an accident that involved a drunk driver; she was 23 and drunk as hell!!!!

The accident happened in the freeway; she was going full speed, lost control of the car, crossed over the median and drove north on the south bound of the highway.

It was dark and I didn't see it coming!!!!!!!!!!! It's not very often you would expect a car to come towards you in the highway!!!..maybe in the movies perhaps...........
I was hospitalized;I had numerous broken body parts and I was also emotionally broken and was unable to drive for a long time.....I had phobia behind the wheel.

Khloe, We all make silly mistakes in our lives. We just live and we learn. I know that must have been a horrible experience. I was working with the NYPD and they made me and several others visit the morgue for Professional purposes. It had to be the worst experience of my life. I didn't sleep or eat for almost a week! I was mortified by what I saw.
Like I said. We all live and we learn. You have been an adult and you have taken responsibility for your actions. I take my hat off to you for that!

L - i heard a radio interview with kim where they asked her why she doesn't drink and she said she doesn't like the taste of alcohol but that she has on occasion (like once a year) drank and at the time she stated that she was still feeling it from "memorial" day. I just don't want people to drink and drive, yet i know many people will read this blog and stillll drink and drive !!!! It angers me to sooo much because i know someone who was killed because of a drunk driver, a young girl that lived on my street. I think the burned homeless man happened in Downtown Los Angeles I heard about it in the newspaper...just recently.

Aww this is sooo incredibly sad. Just the images in my head alone make me really sad, I CANNOT imagine having to actually do something like that. But good for her for staying strong, and going through with it. I'm sure it was on hell of a learning experience. :(

Crissy - khloe would have had to go to jail for a good amount of time if she hadn't have done the DUI program. She bailed out on her probation the first time and that's why she went to jail for one day and then had to do this program afterwards. Kim thanks for posting something meaningful for once and if i see on person commenting about a "make-up video" on this particular blog im going to screaammmm. This is serious stuff and i hope all you people that drink alcohol pay close attention. DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE !!!!!

I can't get the images out of my head these poor people and how they had to die. No one deserves to suffer like this. Please tell Khloe I hope that she learned her lesson and that I am proud of her for going through this and not bailing out like a lot of other celebrities would. Take care.

I was wondering when you were going to post about this. I saw it on TMZ a few days ago. I hope Khloe has learned her lesson and passes it on to everyone else. Drinking and driving is the most selfish thing a person can do ! I'm glad you finally did a blog with some substance. I left a comment 2 days ago asking you when you would talk about this. Glad you did. I just wish celebs would stop glamourizing alcohol and making it seem like drinking is the only way to have fun. I saw a pic of you a few weeks ago with a bottle of alcohol to your lips, you were just posing but still some girls will think it's something you agree with, eventhough you have said that you don't drink. Khloe and kourt get drunk on your reality show ALOT. I think the producers should leave that stuff out. I honestly think you girls should stop hosting "ciroc" parties because it's promoting drinking. If people don't drink, then they can't drink and drive right? Take care.
