Remembering my Daddy five years later

Today is the day my father passed away five years ago. I can’t even believe it has been that long.

It seems like our lives have changed so much in these past five years. Every tough thing that would come our way, it seemed my dad was watching over us and protecting us and somehow we would make it through and come out even stronger!

There isn’t a day that goes by where I don’t think about him or wish he were here. I often have really real dreams about him, where I wake up so mad it was just a dream. I miss him so much!

Today is a hard day, but my reason for this post is to honor my dad! He was the most amazing dad, husband, son, brother and my best friend!

I love you, Dad!

    Wow, you actually look like a normal person there. What happened to you? I bet your dad would turn over in his grave if he saw what an arrogant slut you’ve become.

    It’s wonderful that you honour and share this piece of your life about your dad. My mom passed away on September 30th, 2008 of Ovarian Cancer and even she’s not here I feel as though she does watch over me and I too get those dreams of her being so real and waking up feeling really sad. Take care and keep your heart strong. You are beautiful!

    Hey kim! i love this pic of you and your father! I know how you feel I lost my Father two years ago! Its funny, but i know my father isn’t here in person anymore but i know he is still with me and watching every step i take in this world! I know you truly miss your father and i know he was more then a father to you but your true best friend! Thats how i feel about mine!

    I know how you feel completely. My mom died in march 2004, just about five years ago. I was only 14, it was the saddest time in my life…and there is never a day that goes by that I don’t think about her and wish I could have done something to stop it or atleast gotten closer to her before she died.
