Remembering my Daddy five years later

Today is the day my father passed away five years ago. I can’t even believe it has been that long.

It seems like our lives have changed so much in these past five years. Every tough thing that would come our way, it seemed my dad was watching over us and protecting us and somehow we would make it through and come out even stronger!

There isn’t a day that goes by where I don’t think about him or wish he were here. I often have really real dreams about him, where I wake up so mad it was just a dream. I miss him so much!

Today is a hard day, but my reason for this post is to honor my dad! He was the most amazing dad, husband, son, brother and my best friend!

I love you, Dad!

    I am 26 and I lost my father when I was 10. It gets easier to deal with the more time goes on but it never disappears completely, nor would I want it to. I just lost my mother 1.5 years ago and there are days when you just feel them beside you. just know that you have a guardian angel watching over you.

    Thanks for allowing us to have a glimpse into your life and for sharing a part of you that is so personal and special — the memory of your father.

    How old are you in the photo? It is a nice portrait of the both of you.

    Hey Kim,
    My father is at that age where I know I could lose him at any time. I try to cherish every day with him and make sure he knows how important he is to me. God willing, he will be around for many, many years to come.
    I am glad you took this moment to think of him and post about his anniversary. Surround yourself with your family and remember all the good times like hawaii and how blessed you are.

    My father died September of 2002. I can relate to your pain. You, Rob and Kourtney look so much like your father. God bless.

    everytime she posts something about DWTS, she follows it up witha post about her dad. its sad R.I.P but i still wont feel sorry or vote for you on DWTS

    Thanks for sharing this with the world – I lost my dad 2 weeks ago and it feels like the end of the world however I know he is in a better place and no longer fighting cancer. God Bless you and your family.

    We will keep voting for you just keep your chin up and keep working hard
