Much ado about my mambo dress!

Look closely at these photos… You will notice that some of the pics show my hair straight and down (like the one of just me and Mark), and my dress is a longer length. That was from dress rehearsal.

In rehearsal, my hair flipped into my face so much while I was dancing, the Dancing With The Stars team decided they wanted me to change it so you could see my face more.

They also thought my dress looked too overwhelming and said it wasn’t showing my legs enough! We rushed to fix my hair and minutes before the live show they were cutting off ruffles from my dress!

Did you watch last night? What did you think of my song selection? (LOL!)

I have to be honest—last night was so hard! Standing there for two hours
in complete suspense really drained me!

I watched our performance over
again last night on Tivo and I think the judges were right! I really
need to loosen up and not think so much about the steps as they are
happening. I just have to have more fun with it!

This show is so much
more difficult than I expected! I hope I get another opportunity to
dance again. I am not ready to go home. I have so much more to learn!

I
am doing this show to break my own shyness shell, and little by little
it really is working. It’s all about progress!

I really am going to take what the judges say to heart and learn from their advice…if I make it to next week!

    I’m a huge fan of DWS!!! Advice–listen to the judges. Let your inner sexy diva come out onto the dance floor and you’ll do much better. You’re too stiff!!!!! Come on you can do it!!!

    Kim,
    I truly love you. I watch yor show and everything that has to do with you.
    The reason why I starting off like this is b/c I don’t want you to think I’m anything like Anonymous-HateHER.
    I was real disappointed last night. First of all, I had to wait to the end to see you dance…that is not a good sign.
    The song was great, but I don’t think you did any justice for it. As a dancer my self and a black women, I think you could have done more. There was one move (Boom Boom) with your hand up and popping- it look like you were thinking about it to much instead of just let go and doing it.
    Please rep today!!!! Make me proud!
    I’m the only person in my house going for you… TEAM KIM!!!!!!
