It started in high school, when it became difficult for me to see the chalkboard in class. I never wanted to wear contacts or glasses, so I have just kind of dealt with it! I got glasses, but never wore them.
I am getting lasik eye surgery soon and I'm sooo scared! Have any of you done it?
Check out these weird tests they make you do to make sure you are a good candidate. They check your tear production by putting these paper sticks in your eyes! It's soooo freaky!
I am doing my procedure with Dr. Robert Maloney, by the way.

I started wearing glasses in the 2nd grade! Every time I got new glasses I would toss them in the trash, so now that I am older I really need them! I'm getting married in April next year and do not know what to do, should I deal with it & wear my glasses throughout the reception so that I see who is coming to greet me or should I try & get the surgery? HELP!

Good luck Kim with the surgery. Dony worry piece of cake, both my sis and bro got this done, and they can see real good with no difficulties, of course you need to give it time after sugery.

I've never had lasik eye surgery before but I've only heard good things about it! But I must say... even with those tear sticks in your eyes, you still look absolutely gorgeous!

im a second year at UCLA and i have terrible eyesight. i definitely would want to get lasik someday, but unfortunately as a college student i have no money :( Now that you had the procedure done, would u recommend it?

I had 2 eye surgeries when I was 11 and then 12, Only I had the old fashion surgery where they take your eye out of the socket and then cut the muscles and sew them back together tighter. It was so painful and I had stitches inside of my eye. Then in 2004 I was in a car accident and had to have class removed from my eye, now I have scar's that u can visibly see. Anyways I wish I could have had Lasik. Good Luck Sweetie and I'll keep u in my prayers.
P.S it's gonna be really itchy, dont scratch at all. Anyways Best of luck.
