To be honest, long distance relationships are hard. If you both make the effort, they will work. But you are young and I wouldn't limit myself to just Amir. It's great that you two are still in touch, though. Try not to miss him too much and focus on the positive—you two are still connected and communicating. I suggest you do lots of cardio to burn the fat. But you also need to strength train because the more muscle you have, the faster the fat will burn. Keep with it and also make smart diet choices. It's so easy, especially when you're working out a lot, to crave those bad-for-you foods. One trick is to fill yourself up with a healthy meal and treat yourself to a bite of the delisciously rich treat you are craving after that. That way, you won't be denying yourself those guilty pleasures, but you also won't be compelled to eat as much of it.
