You always seem to have confidence in yourself. I, however, lack confidence. Everyone says that I'm a pretty girl, but I feel that I'm not. Whenever I'm with my friends, they always get more attention from guys... and they aren't "all-that" great looking. I've got personality, and they don't. I always find myself comparing their body types to mine, because they are size zeroes, and that makes me think that guys always go for the thin ones. How can I stop comparing and start to feel comfortable in my own skin and feel more confident?

So true! It's so important to have a healthy self esteem, for girls especially! When you feel confident somehow your face glows, your smile is radiant, and that shirt falls into all the right places! Lol cheesy but guys really notice, and you will get approached so much more!

I understand where you are coming from not confident, I am not exactly a sizr 0 either, and I struggle with confidence everyday on some level, and what I have to remember is that in order for someone to love you, you have to love yourself first. Self love is most important, and once you have that, confidence will come,and then who will be able to resist you then??!!

i read what you said and i used to have a lot of confidence in myself and i still dont compare myself to anyone, but i still cant help but hate the way i look. i feel so ugly. i look at you and your sisters and how beautiful all of you are.. and i just think about when i used to have that body and used to dream of being a model thinking i could make it.. now.. i know it'll never happen and that hurts so much knowing im too ugly now for it.. ill admit a lot of things have caused it let alone i gained weight and now have stretch marks(i was pregnant then had a miscarriage) like all over my body which makes me that much worse.. then i have all my other issues as well.. i have a boyfriend who wants to marry me one day and he says im beautiful no matter what i or anyone says.. but it doesnt help.. i seriously dont know what to do anymore..

I have this really close friend of mine who is constantly comparing herself to me. Shes even gone as far as measuring her legs, waist etc.. to me and has even cried because she wanted to look different. It's starting to be too much and I don't want to hurt her feelings. What should I do? Have you been through something similar?
