Hooray for Hollywood

I was driving to my friend’s house the other day in Hollywood and saw everyone taking pictures on the side of the road.

I looked up and it was the Hollywood sign! I thought it was pretty cool, to be that close, but didn’t want to stop and get out of my car to take a picture. (I mean, I’m a Southern California girl. I’m no tourist! Ha!)

With the famous sign on my mind, I drove up the winding road to my friend’s house. I was compelled to walk to the backyard and then realized, standing there looking at H-O-L-L-Y-W-O-O-D, I was the closest I will ever come to it!

I was mesmerized by it, so I took a pic! I must admit it was pretty cool! 

It’s illegal to climb up the hill where it stands and there is a full time patrol helicopter team scoping out the mountain. I wonder if anyone has gotten to the sign!!!

    TO ALL THE HATERS WITH THE NEGATIVE COMMENTS THEY ARE SOOO PLAYED OUT DO US REAL TRUE FANS HERE ON THE WEB AND PLEASE STAY OUT!

    AS MUCH AS WE ALL LOVE JENNIFER LOPEZ SHE ALSO HAS HAD PLASTIC SURGERY! JENNIFER LOPEZ HAS HAD TWO NOSE JOBS AND CHEEK IMPLANTS SHE DID IT GRADUALLY. LOOK ONLINE ITS LIVING PROOF OF IT.

    You can actually drive up the mountain though and see them really really close. i guess its only illegal within a certain amount of feet of the letters. Because i have driven up the mountain.

    Of course Kimmie Everyone who is in LA has to take a pic of the Hollywood sigh its a Landmark. The pic you took is nice GO LA !!!!!!!!

    When I lived in San Diego, I’d go up to LA hoping I saw the sign. I did after some navigation. It was nice, but not great.

    I am not a fan of L.A. But it’s nice to know that you are and can appreciate its simple assets.

    Hahahah Kim removed my message I put on here…. I must have pressed her button… she knows she’s dumb..she gets to you guys with this “see you should do this to be healthy, i do this… Im committed to this now (and then you’ll see her fall off of it the next day), I use this and this to make my ass bigger”…I know girls this like…learn little facts and then say what they’ve learnt from someone else and everyone thinks they know so much.. this trick has no education but “shopping”..imagine trying to have a conversation with her “lik umm yaa you wanna like go shopping….ya I bought this new Mac lipglos Ouuww maaa goddd”….ah come on…. Ive got money and its possible to have money AND a brain…muhaah

    Hey Kim!
    ive been to the sign before! Its pretty big! Theres this special path you get to drive through and it leads you straight to the sign.

    On one episode of the Girls Next Door they rode horses up to the sign… I guess Hef has some great connections!

    Hey kim! that’s cool! I used to live in LA and moved when i was 8, sadly. I miss it so much! I’m coming August 4-18 though, i hope i see you!

    Hi Kim!

    My husband and I and a couple of my cousins actually have walked a trail up to the Hollywood Sign!! You can’t get to the actual letters but there is a trail you follow behind and up the mountain and you get to the very top and there is a fence that blocks you from getting to the letters..but you are literally behind it and you can see the view of all of Los Angeles! It’s amazing! You guys should try it…I actually have pictures if you want to see them let me know!
