During our first dinner in Monte Carlo, I discovered some new and interesting information about myself!
Being with my grandmother, we all were talking about my grandmother's love life. Come to find out that my mom's real father passed away in a car crash before we were born.
So Kourtney and I found out that my grandfather that we always called "papa" was really our step grandpa. He was married to my Grandma MJ for more than 30 years before he recently passed away.
He was German and Irish, so I always thought that I was half Armenian and quarter German and a quarter Irish!
But as we were digging down into our history we realized that on my mom's side, she is Scottish and Dutch... So it turns out I am half Armenian (a quarter Turkish and a quarter Russian) and a quarter Scottish and a quarter Dutch!

Whoah that's crazy to barely find that out! I would be freaking out...but lets see I don't think I have ever found out any info on me that I would have never predicted. I'm German/Croatian, what I didn't know that from my grandma's side there was also Slovakia descent. Gosh, hope I spelled that right.
My daughter is now German/Croatian/Haitian/American. She speaks English and German, I hope I can teach her also Croatian, but it is so hard, enforcing all these languages at home.

Very cool! Maybe that explains why your brother and Khloe are so tall!! :) Haha, but none of you guys (excluding Khloe) look Scottish or Dutch. You all look 100% Armenian lol
Just like yourself, I am 1/2 Armenian and 1/2 Greek. My father is Armenian (born in Italy, but Armenian by blood, so that makes me Italian-Armenian on that side and my mother is from Greece! :)
Also, Kim when you say you are 1/4 Turkish and 1/4 Russian, it really means that you are 50% Armenian, but that your ancestors were born in Turkey and Russia but with Armenian blood. :) It doesn't mean you have Turkish or Russian blood. But you probably already knew that, right? :)

wow, that must be intense to find out a big piece of info like that. Maybe you can post some pics of both ur grandpas? The Irish/German and the Scottish/Dutch one! No wonder Khloe's so tall lol Aren't Dutch giants? Well, my mother's father survived the Armenian genocide...he was a baby placed in a basket on the doorsteps of a house with a note stating that he is the child of an important political figure, that his parents were killed. The family adopted him but never told him who his deceased parents were even though the note had indicated who they were. He had blonde hair/blue eyes which is not so Armenian so it's a mystery what our background is if there's a mix :) PS ur grandma's red toes are very stylish!

I am full Chinese. But I recently found out that my mother, who lived in Brazil for 17 years, was in fact engaged to a charming Brasilian man before meeting my father. If she had married him, I wouldn't be me! I was initially shocked, but I love that my mom grew up in the Brazilian culture. That is rare for people of my ethnicity. My sister and I are hoping to venture to Brazil with my mom as our tour guide. Anyway, I hope your vaca is going well. I just came back from NY myself. I hope you received my package! i just recently had a baby so i have been very intersted in my family history. my father just recently told me that im a quarter pacific islander. so since i was younger i thought i was 100% puerto rican and in reality i was 75% puergto rican and 25% pacific islander.

That's pretty funny, Kim.
I also found out crazy stuff when I got older....like we were part Irish, and that an ancestor was bastard Scottish royalty.
One cool thing was that on one side of the family, we are related to Brigadier General Daniel Morgan.
The movie _The Patriot_, portays him in composite form.
I've become the historian in the family, and hope to find out more.

Great to see you and your family are in Europe! And even better to see you are 1/4 Irish!
I am from Liverpool (yep where the Beatles are from!) and almost everyone from here is at least 1/2 Irish. And we all see are grandmothers at least every day. It must be an Irish thing. HAHA.
