for weekend! And if you have been wondering about the back story on Ashlee Simpson's
nose job, I have some details to share. I also discuss how I got
started in the styling business, how to control oil and which facials I
like to get. Bella says:
Hey Kim, I love the show... very interesting. My family is kinda like yours except my mom isn't as cool. I'm hailing from the Bahamas and I wanted to know how you got your start as a stylist?
I started off styling for my mom and Bruce when they were filming infomercials. I fell in love with it and built it from there. It's all about reputation. It's hard work and if you are good, good news travels fast and you will always work! You need to start off being an assistant to a stylist to learn the ropes.

I get really irritated sometimes because i put my make-up on and about 30 minutes later my face is really shiny and I feel like my make-up is coming off. Please let me know what you think. I would really appreciate it.
I would try to use oil free makeup and powder. Also carry blot papers that you can use occasionally to control oil throughout the day. Here's another awesome-yet-funny tip: You can use toilet seat covers to blot your face. It's basically the same material as blot papers and their free! Ha ha!

Hey Kim... When I was young I had a nice cute nose but as I started growing up my nose started to have a big bump on it. None of my family members have it except for me. I'm 20 years old now and I really want to tget rid of this ugly bump on my nose. It makes my nose look soo much bigger. I researched on rhinoplasty, but I'm not so confident on where to do it. I heard it is much better to do it in the states but I live in Montreal, Canada, and I'm not sure if they are good or not an I don't know anyone that has had rhinoplasty. Thanks for the compliment, Nevra! I have done my research too, actually. I have decided that I'm too scared to do it... but the Dr. who did Ashlee Simpson's nose is Raj Kanodia. He is known as the best out here in the Los Angeles area. But I'm not sure about giving you any more guidance because I have never done it. I do know that you want to choose your doctor very wisely, ask LOTS of questions, request before-and-after photos of surgeries they have performed and continue to do a lot of research. Because once it's done, it's done forever!

I get my facials at a dermatologists office -- Dr. Ava Shamban in Santa Monica, CA. It's a medical facial. I also go to Aida Tibiant in Beverly Hills, which is fabulous! I get Laser Hair removal -- no more waxing! -- at Laser Away. They are the best. I started at the American Laser Center but Laser Away has numbing cream. I can be such a baby about that stuff! ;)

wow kim ya amazing!!!!! this is my favorite section of your site, when you answer the FAQ'S!!! Don't ever fix your nose, it's soooo perfect and whatever bump you see adds character to you. bc to everyone else your nose is soo tiny and nice and the bump is barely noticeable.
I was completely flat chested, and I got a boob job, bc i wanted boobs so i could fill out my clothes better. but if i already had boobs, like a B cup to begin with - I would've never had them done. so if you already have a nice nose kim, why mess w/ God's work!
Kim, can yout tell me if how to get started with opening up ya own clothing store, I'm sure ya fans would love to know. thanks doll!

I have really oily skin (hate it by the way although they say oily skin helps with aging in the future, glad I'm only 24!) and when i put on my make up i'm cautious not to "load" it on because I don't really need that much, but after about 20 minutes my face is already shinny! What's a good but affordable product you recommend?

Kim, I have a scar issue, I've tried the creams and such but nothing seems to really work. and seeing how i can't figure out how to ask a question on here I am resorting to this. Its just so frustrating to go through everyday hating myself because i have lots of scars that people see. and of course they were caused by acne *sigh* its really embarrassing, my boyfriend tells me i'm pretty, and i always respond with "how am i pretty? have you really looked at me?" i get so frustrated all the time because my mom makes me feel like crap sometimes about it. i hope you can help me out.
