The season finale, which airs tonight, is very special to me. My family and I toured New Orleans
to see the devastation and the reconstruction that has been going on
since Hurricane Katrina. There is still a lot of work to do!!
Reggie is especially passionate about it now that he lives there. He even created a charity called the "619 Foundation" which helps out families in need.
Are you going to watch the finale? What are your thoughts about how Katrina affected the people of New Orleans?

I'm actually a Katrina victim so I basically understand whats going on here.A lot of people kinda forgot about the situtation and a lot of ppl think everything is all good here.
Im happy you and your family got the chance to tour the city and see that people are still struggling nearly 3 years after.
I can't wait to see the episode, its always a good thing to see celebs in my city, lol.

I do appreciate the thought of visiting New Orleans, but I honestly don't watch the show anymore. It is very fake and staged; even though you may deny it there's too many clues that have been proven that it is not real and most of the events taken place are just done by the producers. However, it is still positive that you include events such as Hurricane katrina instead of the usual socialite lifestyle mostly shown by you guys. Hopefully your family continues to visit New orleans, its still beautiful there!

I think its sad. But, if we think thats sad, just think that there are so many places all over the world with conditions just like that but it stays like that...ie; Darfur, Cambodia, Haiti. It kind of makes me feel quilty.

Wow, if you believe the season finale when they were in New Orleans was real...then ya'll are some bimbos. lmao that mess was sooooo scripted and faked out.
All of that was sooo fake......I swear this family will do anything for t.v.
Reggie Bush my azz......Reggie ain't passionate about a damn thing...not even passionate about his football career....that is why he sux...and he started to become even worse ever since he got with you......following you from one country to the next instead of going to pratice
I swear white girls make black men lose focus on what's really important.

Hey Kim-
I think what you guys did for that family was so touching it makes me want to go out and help people.
In that episode you were wearing these great sunglasses that I absolutely love! I have been looking for new sunglasses and have not found any that I really like... what brand are the ones you are wearing in that episode and where can I find them? I am guessing they are not in stores anymore but I would like to try to find them if possible!
Thanks!!
Adriana

Kim, I am from Louisiana, a town called Monroe. It's about 3 hours from New Orelans. We go there all the time! But ever since Katrina hit, to me I feel so guilty going down there to party when some people don't even have their house to sleep in. So after coming home from my last trip I found a way to donate to some of those people through a charity down there. I think it is amazing what you guys did for that family, and I really hope it opened people eyes on how bad Katrina really was. People are still trying to pick up the pieces and will continue to do that for many years to come. So Thank you for taking pride in the city! It means so much that people care so much and want to make things better, you guys want to make it right. With the help from you all and many others that have donated their time and money slowly but surely things are starting to come together. Without families like you New Orelans would be where it was right after the hurricane hit. I just wanted to tell you what you guys did was such an amazing thing and I can not tell you how much it means to people from Louisiana to watch the city we all take pride in come back together! Thank you all again!

Hey Kim!
I just want to start off by saying that your truly my role model. People can say what they want but you are. You are real and not afraid to say i messed up. People always think that role models are supposed to be perfect but no one is perfect. You make mistakes just like the rest of us. I love you and ur family and i feel like im apart of the fam. My name starts with a K also so im all set. i love you and ur fam and the show. i wish you all the best of luck and hopefully we'll meet one day

Kim, as a person affected by Katrina, I am very impressed by what you and your sisters (and reggies foundation) did for that family. You wouldnt believe how hard it is to come back after you worked so hard for the little things you have. Your little bit really seemed to go a long way. Keep up the good work!!!
