I feel for you. A few years ago I bought a vintage Mercedes 450SL convertible(in pristine condition--white with red interior!). Two minutes after I put the plates on at my house, I drove out onto the side street. At the stop sign, I got rammed by a car that was trying to avoid being hit by another car. The whole side of my precious baby was smashed in & I was unable to get out of the car-scary! Fast forward, the car was never the same, I sued the other drivers and I ended up selling the car after it was repaired. Just remember it's only a car-and there is only one fabulous you!

Well, I must say, yes there are many more important things in life than a $220,000 car, this is true. As for her expressing her disppointment in the situation, its only human, I was just as devestated when my 2007 honda accord was smashed. I know exactly how it feels,for my 18th my parents bought me an Audi R8 for doing so well in my exams...
well..within about a month of getting my license, and managing to find insurance on the car It was hit by a drunk driver when I was leaving a party and it was completely smashed up :-( I've now been given a replacement by my insurance company (some gross old audi not a nice pretty one) until It's finally repaired, I've waited about a month and a half now and it should take roughly 3 months. :_(!!!!!
When I heard your story I was so happy (but obviously still upset) someone else knew how it felt!!!!

Kim, I think you're gorgeous, maybe you should pursue modeling. But talking about your Bentley to average, everyday people makes you look like a shallow bitch. Get over it, or talk to people in your income bracket about it. This past New Year's Day, I wasn't feeling well as it was since it was 'that time of the month', and then having to find my rear windshield shattered with a hole amongst it, didn't make me feel any better. The reason I am here, and I'm sure the reason so many others feel compelled to make comments, is NOT because we are "jealous". It's because Kim is a public figure with a public blog which is getting a lot of attention for this unbelievably selfish post.

I read about this particular blog entry on several gossip sites, and was directed here by Crazy Days and Nights, and like many others, I felt a need to say something just on the off chance that Kim or someone who knows her MIGHT get an idea of how spoiled and pathetic she sounds, complaining about her obscenely expensive car (which she couldn't even afford without the profits from a sex tape that made her famous) will be in the shop for a little while.

Asking her fans to "wish her car a speedy recovery" just proves how completely out of touch with reality she is. Most people in America, and certainly the rest of the world as well, cannot afford a Bentley. Plenty of us can't even afford the gas to put in our own used cars. People all over this world have much bigger problems than this self-centered socialite.

So, to answer the question, why are we all coming here to rant at Kim?

The only new car I've ever owned was smashed up by a hit and run drunk driver. He hit it so hard from the back that it pushed the front end into a tree and the hood bent in the middle. Since I wrapped up my old car loan payments on a super old piece of crap into the new car, I can't afford my insurance premium to raise if I get it fixed.

I work on average 120 hours weekly for not very much money. I have a son who is the most important person in my life. I work for him! I sacrifice everything for him and do so without hesitation or thought for myself! I would work 10,000 hours a week if I could to help save up enough money to get him into a good college and make sure he has the tools to succeed in life.

He doesn't have much but he has clean clothes and a small roof over his head! My Nissan Altima needing a new starter is a big deal to me. The homeless man on the corner is obviously occupied with securing his next meal. It's all about your circumstances and your perspective. The fact that Kim is upset about her car does not automatically mean she is incapable of feeling sympathy or compassion. OMG, I totally know what you're going thru. In Jan, my driver came to pick me up in a Rolls my Dad just had imported from the UK for my b-day...and some lunatic decided to rear-end us. I was so mad becuz I had to wait on the sidewalk for like 25 minutes til my driver sorted everything out with the idiot. It was crazy and devastating, especially since my Blahniks were not yet broken in and my feet started to hurt.
