I recently went to New Orleans as a school trip and we went to go help clean up a neighborhood that was affected by Katrina. Most of us were sad for what happened and we knew that this is what we needed to do to help change the world and environment.

Those are very disturbing pictures. I don’t understand why the damage is left as is without any repairs and clean-up. Is it because the homeowners didn’t have insurance and now it’s a total loss? I’d think hurricane and flood insurance would be required in that region, so what is going on? I don’t understand, it’s very bizarre. If people have abandoned the homes, why doesn’t the state raze everything down and build from new? Is it going to turn into a torn up ghost town? Strange yet sad.

hey kim, i think you did a wonderful job of helping out!
Just few hours ago i had no idea about who you are, the tv was on and i saw your show its was about your visit to new orleans, just wanted to say that what you did was a great thing and should be an example to other young people… also i`ve got a question. the only reason why i kept watching the show was your surname, it sounded armenian. do you guys speak any armenian?
Yes ,You did an Amazing thing down here in New Orleans. So many families STILL need help surviving. Esp in the Lakefront area, Gentilly, Lake Forest, & N O East areas. Katrina did a number on many. But its nice to see someone come along and put a smile on their faces , like you have. I am so glad your with Reggie. New Orleans needs more faces like Angele and Brad. Now we have Kim and Reggie. Keep up the good work Kim!! Love You
